Michael is a Senior Partner for the firm, dedicated to serving our team and our clients since 2009. Michael was awarded a degree in Business Management with a Focus in Entrepreneurship from Florida Gulf Coast University. He further pursued his passion for law and obtained his Juris Doctorate from Ave Maria School of Law, focusing in Estate Planning, Estate Taxation, Business Planning and Transactional Services. He is licensed to practice law in Florida and Washington D.C.

Not only does Michael excel in serving our valued Estate Planning clients, but he also assumes the role of Lead Attorney for our Business Planning and Mergers & Acquisitions Department(s). His deep-rooted familial ties to South Florida and the construction industry provide him with extensive knowledge of the intricate processes involved in establishing, maintaining, protecting assets, and selling business entities in Florida.

Outside of his professional endeavors, Michael cherishes time spent with his beloved family and friends. Being an ardent advocate of a wholesome family-oriented lifestyle, he passionately embraces the great outdoors. On any given weekend, you'll find Michael enjoying thrilling adventures on a swamp buggy, perched in a tree stand, or out on a boat fishing. His love for nature fuels his unwavering support for organizations like the Glades County Youth Livestock Show, Inc., and Hendry County Fair and Youth Livestock Show, Inc. These commendable initiatives instill core values, ethical responsibility, and community engagement in youth and their 4-H clubs.

Michael's dedication to community service extends beyond the realm of nature-related causes. As a member of the Board of Directors for the Military Support Foundation, Inc., and SW Florida Heroes Foundation, Inc., he actively participates in raising funds and providing support for deployed military personnel and local youth pursuing civil service as first responders. Additionally, Michael selflessly serves the citizens of Hendry County, Florida, as a respected member of its Hendry County Board of County Commissioners- Airport Advisory Committee.

With his well-rounded background and genuine commitment to family, community, and business, Michael embodies the perfect balance of professionalism and familial values. His contributions to our firm and the wider community truly reflect his unwavering dedication to fostering a prosperous and harmonious environment for all.

Michael is also active as a board member of the SW Florida Heroes Foundation and Julian Keen Memorial Scholarship. SW Florida Heroes Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit organization established to provide financial assistance to the local heroes and aspiring heroes of Southwest Florida, including military personnel, law enforcement, firefighters/EMTs, and teachers. Julian “Batman” Keen, Jr. honorably served and gave his life in service of this community as a Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) Officer. To honor Julian’s life and sacrifice, friends and community leaders have established the Julian Keen Memorial Scholarship, a fund for SWFL youth committed to pursuing a career as a first responder. The foundation proudly operates under and shares its mission with the community under the hashtag #BeLikeJulian.

Michael and his wife Jamie have also chaired events for the American Heart Association and the Heart Ball to raise awareness and provide funding related to heart research and the prevention of heart disease.
