Mr. Wintter has more than 30 years of experience as a practicing attorney and is a recognized expert in Trust and Estate matters by the Florida Bar. In fact, out of the more than 110,000 licensed attorneys in Florida, Mr. Wintter is one of approximately 340 who passed the exam and met the requirements to become Board Certified by the Florida Bar in the area of Wills, Trusts, and Estates.
Not only has Mr. Wintter been Board Certified since 1999, he is also recognized for his legal ability and commitment to ethical standards and has earned the AV Preeminent Rating with LexisNexis Martindale Hubbell, the highest possible rating given by a group of peers in the legal field, and has a perfect 10.0 Superb (Top Attorney Probate) by AVVO. Mr. Wintter earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting with High Honors from the University of Florida in 1982 and received his Juris Doctor degree from the Duke University School of Law in 1987. Before attending law school, Mr. Wintter worked as a CPA in the Washington, D.C. tax department of Arthur Andersen & Company from 1982-1984.

Mr. Wintter has also been admitted to practice law before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit, and the U.S. District Court for the Southern, Middle, and Northern Districts of Florida. His numerous other achievements include membership in the Trial Lawyers Section of the Florida Bar, the Elder Law Section of the Florida Bar, and the Real Property, Probate, and Trust Law Section of the Florida Bar. He has also participated in committees drafting legislation concerning probate law, trust law and guardianship law.
Mr. Wintter is currently serving on the Executive Council of the Real Property Probate and Trust Law section of the Florida Bar and serves on its Probate and Trust Litigation Committee, Probate Law and Procedure Committee, Trust Law Committee, and is Vice Chairman of the Committee on Jurisdiction and Due Process.
