Bradley W. Butcher was born in Flint, Michigan, and raised on a small family dairy farm. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science – Prelaw from Michigan State University in 1995. Following his academic success, Mr. Butcher enlisted in the United States Air Force, where he served with distinction from 1995 through August 1999.
During his time in the Air Force, Mr. Butcher was assigned to the 97th Intelligence Squadron at Offutt Air Force Base near Omaha, Nebraska. He served as an Airborne Maintenance Technician aboard the RC-135 Rivet Joint reconnaissance aircraft. Throughout his enlistment, he was deployed multiple times to Prince Sultan Airbase in Saudi Arabia, participating in operational sorties supporting Operation Southern Watch and the enforcement of the southern Iraqi No-Fly Zone.
In March 1999, Mr. Butcher was deployed to RAF Mildenhall in Suffolk, England, in support of Operation Noble Anvil during the Kosovo air campaign. He continued his role as an Airborne Maintenance Technician during operational sorties supporting air operations in Kosovo.
For his exemplary service, Mr. Butcher was awarded numerous commendations, including the Aerial Achievement Medal, Air Force Outstanding Unit Award with Valor and two devices, Air Force Good Conduct Medal, Combat Readiness Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, and Air Force Training Ribbon.
After his honorable service in the Air Force, Mr. Butcher pursued a legal career at Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan. He completed an accelerated program and graduated first in his class on September 15, 2001.
In April 2007, Mr. Butcher founded Butcher & Associates, PL, providing high-quality legal services to clients in Charlotte, Collier, and Lee Counties. He now brings his extensive legal knowledge and dedication to Dorcey Law Firm as a partner, where he continues to serve clients with excellence in the areas of real estate and title services.
